Respected and established Somerset law firm are looking to take on a residential conveyancing fee earner/paralegal. This is a permanent full-time role with the opportunity for career progression and hybrid working for the right candidate. The firm are expanding and are looking for top-tier, talented individuals who can bring something special to the firm.
 
Role Involves:
·Opening files
·Handling a residential conveyancing caseload supervision
·Liaising with clients, fee earners and relevant parties to keep all parties updated and ensure a smooth conveyancing process
·Preparation and submission of applications to the Land Registry
·Dealing with any requests from the Land Registry
·Arranging pre-completion searches
·Preparing and submitting SDLT return
·Keeping of accurate records
·Support of other fee earners and ad hoc admin duties as arise such as file closing
 
Require skills:
·Solid knowledge of the residential conveyancing process from start to finish
·At least 12 months experience working in a residential conveyancing department
·Excellent communication skills
·Demonstrable team working skills
·Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
