Ambitions and expanding Somerset law firm are looking for a Residential Conveyancing Head of Department. This is a permanent full-time role with the opportunity for hybrid working for the right candidate. The firm are expanding and are looking for top-tier, talented individuals who can bring something special to the firm.
 
Role Involves:
·Responsibility for management of the residential conveyancing team
·Support and supervision of less experienced colleagues and junior staff
·Dealing with any issues arising on a day-to-day basis
·Ensuring that the team are kept up to date with best practice
·Ensuring that the team are meeting their monthly targets
·Attending conference and networking events
·Being ambassador for the firm's values and ethos
·Involvement in business development
·Handle your own caseload of residential conveyancing matters
 
Require skills:
·Ideally 5 years PQE with solid experience of residential conveyancing
·Previous experience in managing a team/department
·Excellent communication skills
·Demonstrable team working skills
·Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
